Soooo electrical. What battery?? eh eh?

It seems you are waiting on someone to tell you what you want to hear. A battery will do nothing for you at this point.
thats right, just getting a battery is a bad thing. now your crap alt. will have to try and keep 2 batterys charged. you will burn that alt. up fast.....

No no. Its more like. Im trying to understand what batteries are good and why? To me 100$ difference in a bat tells me there is a performance difference. You all say go with DEKA 31 or 34 groups. Alright...How much of a performance difference are we talking. And i absolutely will get a bat and Alt and ill do it at the same time.

The group 31 is twice as powerful as the group 34 but its almist twice the size and u cant fit a 31 up front so it doesnt

You don't need a alt with 2800 watts a good under hood batt and a trunk batt is more then enough

Not on that power
so your saying his stock alt is going to keep 2 batterys charged ? it sounds like his alt. cant keep 1 charged...

op you need an alt. you cant make power with just batterys.

Personally I prefer to not have to worry about my voltage. Realibility should be the first word used when you have a set budget. A big alt will give you that reliability and you won't have to wonder if your battery choice is enough. Because if it isn't, guess what? You will need a new alternator anyway. So at that point you just wasted whatever you spent on batteries. Also dragging voltage down to the battery level is stressing everything from the stock alternator to the speakers. Burn up anything and you just wasted more money. It's really dumb not to do it right the first time

Bro he has a 2000 watt amp and a little 4 channel .. 1 good batt and the big three is more then enough ... There's a difference between doing it right and waisting money because it's what you read on the forum ... I guarantee switching to a xs and the big three he won't see below 12s ever .. Those batts have a lot of reserve man .. It's not much power he's almost ok with a wetcell and no big 3 lol .. I ran 5k plus with a 200 amp Tenney no issues .. I also did the install correct .. See how that works

Once again. Hitting 12v on a daily driver is a bad thing. I shouldn't have to explain that to a pro like you. A small stock alternator is not going to magically putout 100+ amps of current. With that being said.. The alt will be stressed since they are not designed to run full tilt, amps will be stressed since they will be seeing lower voltage, speakers will be stressed since the lower voltage amps will get dirty. It's not rocket science. Or it may be to sone
