SonicElectronix.

first thing is, you NEED to learn to look ar RMS value only, when something says 1500w MAX it usualy isnt even close, that rockford for example is only 500W. this is nothing against Sonic though, that is how the amp is advertised, it means nothing... i used to call these "Sony Watts" cause they always rated there stuff at like 2000w Max and were like 250RMS... makes no sense. Anyway, that said, stick with the hifonics amp for the subs. also found this deal for ya, just call sonic to combine / place the order, they price match there own ebay stuff if you call in

also that mid / high amp WAY overpowers the mids and highs you got. you will probably burn them.

so if you drop to the stuff I recomend with just the two amps, subs, and radio, all your stuff will match, work good, and sound good. your total would be 570 + shipping. Your saving money by already having a install kit and dropping the cap, all you will need is a 4 to dual 8 distribution block and a little 8ga. wire. The subs will have 250more RMS power with the hifonics amp then the one you picked too... lol thats the diffrence between a amp advertised at 750 and one rated 1500 Max. Plus, you usualy save on shipping by ordering everything through one place in one order, vs alot of cheaper stuff from diffrent places with $30 shipping per item. GL

you said your self you think I know what I am doing.. lol

In general I think Lanzar = junk. its another flea market brand, very cheap components, and you read a max value again.... the 800 by 2 is a fake number.

Db has a VERY good point, you cant exactly argue with Ohms law either...

P = I (current) x V (voltage)

p= 30a (fuse x 14.4v (a cars voltage while alternator running)

p = 432w

That tells you how shitty the engineering is on this amp, even if it pushes the RMS power it claims at the lowest configuration, its circuit is not set up to handle it (short by minimum 400w, assuming 100% efficiency, which nothing is, so its much worse)

now lets plug the hifonics info

p = I x V

p = (2x 60a) x 14.4v

p = 120a x 14.4v

p = 1728w

its only 65 more dollars and is set up to run WAY more power then that Lanzar junk.

Also, if you look at the tech spec on the Lanzar, under bridged RMS output there is no rating (no support?) yet it claims 1600w on the next line with no given impedance. Its about 80a shy in fusing (again, assuming 100% efficiency)

The HiFonics titan series is currently one of the best deals on the market ATM. Good engineering and cheap, yet still good clean power.

ok so im definitley getting the hifonics amp cause everything else seems to be either crap. or good but not powerful enough.

now the question is. what subs do i get.

if im doing 10 inches i want at least 2. if it is 12" then one or 2

also what is the maximum rms i should be looking for in subwoofers for the hifonics amp

and these are still crappy subs even tho they have all got great reviews?

and are these audiobahns good i see mixed reviews unsure.?

the peak power doesnt really matter correct?

Correct, always look at the RMS

DejaWiz and DarkFox and others gave you some great suggestions for a good system, get those products recommended rather than Volfengarbage

ok so here is what im getting.

Pioneer HU

these subwoofers as suggested by darkfox (if there still in stock by christmas time)

and the hifonics titan amp

i cant remember if it was this one

o yea and with that head unit. would i need another like 4-5 channel amp for the speakers or is that good by itself?

wrong sub amp. go back and look at the post, you got the 500w one there, not the 750. Also, the amp for mids and highs is up to you. The hu there will be much better then stock without a amp, but up to you if you want to spend the money.

Also with that radio your giving up the 7 band eq in lieu of a 3 band, and your giving up the native iPod control. not a bad thing, just up to you if you want to skip these features.
