i dont even have an ipod so that doesnt really matter. and yea i saw the 7 band equalizer. and i wanted that. but this will do good for me. and then in the future i can also sell this one and upgrade or sometin.

i bought most of my system from them. my mtx 9500, pioneer dhp-6900, ma audio comp rca's, and i never had a problem. tho only thing i didnt get from them it my amp cuz i boughtin off a guy from roe and my wires cuz sonics is an authorized kicker dealer so they chaerged like double the price. but i get the wires from hookedontronics.com

same rms power handling on the 12's as the 10's so its all how much you have room for.

here ya go pair of kicker 12's, 106, call them up when you place your order, get them to do all the items you had from there web site, then ask for the price from there auction on the subs.

That system is 1000000 times better than your first couple ideas

you could use a cap, but do not need for that wattage. See if you notice alot of light dimming (car on) when bass hits, if it does, then spend the extra 75 and get a cap.

The best advice I can give when it comes to pre-fabricated boxes, never ever buy a bandpass or ported box. Sealed is generally fine.

As for the Hifonics TXi amp, I'd recommend you spend an extra $20 and get the new TXi1008. More power and class D, which will have more efficiency resulting in less draw from your electrical system.
