[QUOTE="DarkFox, post: 3447043, member: 567531"] you said your self you think I know what I am doing.. lol In general I think Lanzar = junk. its another flea market brand, very cheap components, and you read a max value again.... the 800 by 2 is a fake number. Db has a VERY good point, you cant exactly argue with Ohms law either... P = I (current) x V (voltage) p= 30a (fuse x 14.4v (a cars voltage while alternator running) p = 432w That tells you how shitty the engineering is on this amp, even if it pushes the RMS power it claims at the lowest configuration, its circuit is not set up to handle it (short by minimum 400w, assuming 100% efficiency, which nothing is, so its much worse) now lets plug the hifonics info p = I x V p = (2x 60a) x 14.4v p = 120a x 14.4v p = 1728w its only 65 more dollars and is set up to run WAY more power then that Lanzar junk. Also, if you look at the tech spec on the Lanzar, under bridged RMS output there is no rating (no support?) yet it claims 1600w on the next line with no given impedance. Its about 80a shy in fusing (again, assuming 100% efficiency) The HiFonics titan series is currently one of the best deals on the market ATM. Good engineering and cheap, yet still good clean power.
