no, like i said, IA has custom made soft parts as josh called em. They have custom surrounds, cones, spiders, voice coils, none of which will be on any other sub. These custom parts make the sub so good. I have no doubt that the IA subs are superior to the Sonic FX subs.

Hi guys,

Alot of companies use the same motors and baskets to save money so they can pass along the savings to you. For example the 4 spoke and 12 spoke baskets are very common on alot of drivers (DD, Treo, Atomic, Crossfire, RE, SI, IA, eD, etc). As far as motors (IA, SI, eD, Sonic FX, Entasi, Shocker, etc) all use the same motor or a slight modified version of it to suit there needs. The difference between all these drivers is the soft parts on each. Each company uses there own blend of soft parts based upon there taste. IA likes the SQL taste so we make our drivers reflect that, where as Mike from Shocker is all out SPL, etc. I hope this clears things up.
