Got the box for the Sonic FX 15 done on sunday. It's pretty ugly looking but I had some absolutely terrible cuts by Lowe's... I'm buying a table saw before the next time I build a box no question about it. But here they are...

Well it looks like the port is a L shaped judging by the screws on top, thus the odd sub placement

kinda... the main reason its on top is because the box is only 14.5" tall. My trunk is designed really stupid and i have like 32" x 14.5" x (whatever depth)...

i hate lowe's/home depot for wood cuts. the sad thing is my friends shop has the exact same verticle saw like they have at those places, and he NEVER miscuts. when i asked the guy at home depot why 4 of my 6 cuts were off by 1/16 to 1/8 of an inch he said "well that's the width of the blade it does that." my response is why does it very in the amount missed if it's just the blade lol.

you ever think that the retards using the saw at lowes/hd dont maintain or take care of their panel saws??.i can think of many, many different occasions where they slide the sheet on and right into the blade, bending the shit out of it..

you could have the best shit, but if you abuse it..it isnt worth shit...

Why not rent a table saw? From Home Depot it was only $35 for 4 hours.

Yeah, those are some pretty crappy cuts, the same thing happened to me at Home Depot. Really depends on the guy though, some don't care and some get it right on the money. I had to take 4 pieces back to get 1/8" shaved off em and an old guy did it for me. . almost cut his hand off, but did it.

i love the sub, it gets loud...... and im suprised on the low end, it shakes alot of panels that never shook before. definitely gonna need some sound deadener, alot..... but.. this looks like a TCAB in no way lol, they use AERO's

LOL. You're not the only one. I just finished my box yesterday and it has about 1/8" hanging off like yours, so you're not the only one. But hey, if it works, it works right? Maybe some carpet will do the trick.

Finally got some nice weather on my day off (which was saturday) and I was too lazy to go buy some batteries after they died in my digi cam but its carpeted and wangin. I gotta couple vids too but I need to edit 'em first.

Im really amazed that the output this thing has with only 800 watts on it. I put on Bass Mekanik's - Bass Mekanik ... wow... way louder than my SX 12 with 1200 rms on it. This box hits the lows with authority too i kinda like it. Vid's will be up later on tonight.

excuse the mess, i'll be working on the install this weekend. I need to buy a new 2-channel amp to replace my planet audio 200.2.... Anyone gotta cheap 2-channel that does 100 x 2 @ 4 ohms or even 75 x 2 @ 4 ohms
