i got a lito question about wiring two amps to a HU. I understand how to wire everything except the turn on wire since there is only one turn on wire from the HU, how am i supposed to go about hooking two amps to one turn-on wire??
so your saying add another wire onto the HU from the existing wire right???just twist another wire on somewhere on the remote turn on wire and cap all the ends together.
I did exactly the same with my two amps...not a lot of current flowing through the remote wire, so a couple amps wired together should be O.K.I daisy-chained my amps together...as long as you're not running more than two or three amps off the head unit, you're fine.
Also, I stuck a 500mA fuse on the remote turn on lead where it came out of the wiring harness - "just in case".
it means connecting items together. Like one item is getting the power while the others are feeding off it I guess. I dunno, it's hard to explain someone can explain it better.sorry about this but what does "daisy-chain" mean?
