Someone Tried to steal my system last night...

I came out this morning and my door was wide open and everything in my glove comp. and console and everything was all over the place, my guess is that they were looking for my trunk release... And they didnt get anything because my deck was with me, my amp is *somewhere* and they couldnt get the trunk popped, and im also guessing they tried to steal the actual car, because the ignition wire cover was off... But I'm lucky because something deterred them because of probably a loud noise... Well I guess I'm lucky that I have alot of thing that help give them a hard time... I'm getting an alarm tomorrow so thats gonna help and tonight they are def. getting in my car or near my trunk because my car is backed up to about 1-2 inches from the garage door and 4-5 from the other cars....

see the thing is... I would have it WIDE OPEN and unlocked tonight so that they would try to get in it... and have a bat/gun with you and ****ing stomp them till they cant move... and call the cops

It's usually the reaction of the board to literally kill off anyone who wants to vandalize / steal anything related to your car. My sugguestion is slightly different.

Install some piezo tweeters, you know, 3 or 4 sets, nicely hidden away. Cheap ones will do. Amp them to their full power capacity with an A/B amp. Find some way to attach it to the alarm so they play several off key frequencies between 11000 and 18000 hz. At full output from tweeters you're looking at 120-140 db, enough to cause physical pain and about a 5 second window before permanent hearing damage occurs when the alarm goes off.

Oh, and you will need some kind of disclaimer. If some shit loses his hearing he'll surely sue, but if you have "The owner of the vehicle is not responsible for any bodily harm you encounter while within audible range of the vehicle's activated alarm." you're a little safer.

No, extra horns will play at around 700-1000 hz, IIRC. It carries the farthest and is loudest, but it doesn't disrupt air as much as the high frequencies of a tweeter. Yeah, you can make their ears ring with 1000 hz, but 16000 will physically hurt them. >=)
