using local RTA

hey guys i really want to go to a local car audio shop and use their RTA to see what the frequency response in my car is looking like. i was wondering if anyone has just walked into a car audio shop they rarely go to and have been able to use their RTA? have any shops charged you guys for using their RTA? i feel kinda weird about going to a shop and using their RTA, knowing im not interested in buying a single thing or getting to know any of them. and i certainly arent gonna sit there and "get to know them" before i ask to use their RTA sorry thats just not me i'm not a very social person //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif . and i dont want to spend the money on one. basically, if i go into a car audio shop and ask to use their RTA am i going to look like a jerk or idiot?

Absolutely not. However, don't expect to get to use it for free //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif I'm sure they'll charge you either a flat fee or a per hour fee. Almost any shop would charge you to use it (hey, it costs them money to buy it, they ain't going to allow anybody to use it for free). That's unless you were a VERY, VERY good customer.
