it there anyone in or around the waco tx area that can help me set the gains on a sundown sae1200d . idontknowwhat to do ive searched and searched onlineand all i can find is how to do it with a scope but i dont have $200 so spend ona meter

Most people just do it by ear. Set your HU volume to 3/4 of the max. Any higher than that, and you risk clipping. Then go to your gain knob and start raising it until you hear distortion, then back it off a little. Some people like to you a DMM (like $15 at Wal-Mart or Radioshack) to measure it but if you don't have one, doing it by ear is fine.
