im usung 1/0ga now if the power wireis only 2ftdo ineed the anl fuze also is it safe to use the alternatorbracket boltfor the block mounted ground or should i run the 4ft wire like the factory wire . im leaving all the factory wires also if this helps

yes you need a fuse and try to make it as short of a distance as possible . as far as the alt bracket as a ground im not really sure its a good idea but its what i did and i haven't had a problem

Fuse-yes.

Alt bolt-it's fine.

ok will do i wentahead andbought a 1ga battery wire at auto zone for the power wire and it was made to go from the battery to the alt. butthey had told me you only needed a fuse if it was over 2 ft . ihave an extra anl holder and 300a fuse ill hookit up to the wire justwanted to make sure i need ed it . imgonnado my big 3 in 1/0ga and the amp wires in 1/0ga also . ill take pics andpost it all up its a alpine 9885 hu , sundown sae1200d and 2- 12" re se ina 2cuft sealed box . just wanted to get it all hooked up right the first time .
