someone tell me where i went wrong, speakers arn't getting sound (Paint PIC)

ok i just got my pheniox gold 5.25 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=350064924316&Category=14941&_trksid=p3907.m29 and installed them in the doors and connected them to my old sony 600w amp http://cgi.ebay.com/SONY-XPLOD-600-WATT-4-CHANNEL-CAR-AMP-STEREO-AMPLIFIER_W0QQitemZ280230122897QQihZ018QQcategoryZ38638QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem . i hooked it all up but my front door speakers arnt getting sound. my subs and rear decks are. the rear decks are factory so w/e but yeah my subs are pounding.

can someone help me and tell me what i wired wrong or did wrong or why my fronts arent working

Is your speaker amp powering up? they may be grounding out somewhere. I've had it happen when they're mounting depth is too deep for the doors.

the amp is powering up and and the ground is pretty solid. im wondering if the REM/Deck wire and that i split that and ran the new wire into it if u get what im saying? lol idk this is so dumb

Have you tried connecting another sound source, IPod, to the speaker amp to see if it works?

And if you're amp is powering up as you say (it's light is turning on) then the remote turn on wire isn't the problem. No lights would come on if it was.

After you test another sound source and it still doesn't work then I'd look closely at your wiring. Maybe you connected the crossovers wrong or wired them to the amp wrong. I'd take some wire and connect your rear deck speakers to the amp (since it's close) or if you have some other spare speakers sitting around you know work, and connect them to the amp to see if the amp works.

either you didnt put the RCA's into the pic there or your missing them. no RCA = no sound.

ground your amps to the same spot.

Check your headunit settings; some have an "Amp cancel" feature. If this is not engaged, your headunit's internal amp powers speakers and does not send a signal to your speaker RCA's.

I was gonna say is the speaker amp on 4 channel? And what kind of HU? does it have separate outputs on the back for the speakers and subs?
