meh, its alright for starting out, I think the colours have a nasty look to them, to much of a beveled look too.. I would choose all new fonts, and add a 1px black border.. always. Just keep playing with it though, my first works were nasssty.. on and off for like 2-3 years and I can make some pretty cool shit.

There's really not a lot of bevel to it at all.. and of course those colors are supposed to look nasty.. it's a DIRT theme. I was going for rust and a muddy/streaky theme, with brief highlights (the upper bevels that you can see framing the windows).

I didn't want to go all trendy like your sig:

General abstract theme, 1 line border, your name in the lower right in some different font.. possibly a render, possibly tech/grid lines in part of it.
