a 13w7 will stomp over ANY 10" sub. theres a monthly meet and this guy told me to bring a 10" sub of my choice to the meet and we'll have a little "sound-off" now i dont know what he means by that..but if hes talking #'s on the term-lab...im thinking of getting a 10" BTL or maybe a juggernaut. any suggestions?

lol @ JL being the best. Definitely get a lot of power, at least 2kw. And put it in a ported box (obviously) tuned a bit higher for the SPL advantage.

Also, talk to this guy and set the ground rules DEFINITELY. Don't assume, as I have learned in betting, establish as many ground rules as possible.

Just buy a 9910 from DD and give it around 3000rms, and put it in a nice ported box. Then with the $1000 you make, you can almost pay for the sub haha.

But you would come out way ahead if you got to keep his W7 as well

What about one of the DD 9510's? Those things are monsterous. Its just kinda funny seeing a 10" sub/cone on such a nasty looking motor.

People who bet $1,000 usually don't pay. I would not buy the sub just to prove him wrong unless you know you will get paid.
