indeed i agree with you. however, you yourself know that statistically the smarter black person still has an equal or less chance of succeeding than the mediocre white person. it is proven fact, you know it and I know it. there is a flaw however, and i will admit it. many blacks use this as a crutch and pull the "i'm black so don't be racist against me" card. racism is nothing but ignorance. there was a (i believe, don't hold it to me) interview with chris rock a few years back on why he ridicules white people during his sessions. he said something to the effect that he is not racist but in fact appreciates the differences and finds them humorous so he makes jokes about them. white comedians consistenly make black jokes as well. joe rogan had a stand up about different races. i didn't think it was funny as joe rogan is a dumbass who couldn't tell a joke if someone said it to him previously. finally, the UNCF is just an association, nothing more. once again, who says that whites can't have one? latinos? polish americans? no one has, but no one has taken the strides to do it. blacks are proud to be black, but as you and i both said many blacks use the fact that they are black to receive special treatment. sry if this doesn't make much sense, i'm not good with writing versus speaking //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I'm sorry, this simply bothers me a lot, and is dead wrong. My grandparents came over from "the greatest oppression of their time" - trying to avoid being butchered by the Turks like 2 million of their countrymen after WWI...so did the Greeks, and so did the Jews in the ramp-up to WWII. I don't consider myself an Armenian-American, but I do realize that less than 80 years ago, a lot of my ancestors had to make a choice between going across Europe and coming to the States or being burned alive in caves in Eastern Turkey. So don't tell me there's no oppression in the history of white people...
