someone familiar with fruity loops

another thing i dont understand i have an average of 5 or 6 patterns going in this song...

none have an issues except when i try to play these two at the same time.

Are the patterns similar? A lot of times if you have 2 similar instruments hitting at the same time, they can cancel each other out. Try offsetting one pattern a little and see if that changes anything.

Well the magic of Fruity Loops, is that sometimes when you save a pattern and exit, it clumps everything together. Meaning, it may not have the same timing as you started with. When you make a pattern, it uses those blocks to determine when each instrument is supposed to strike. Try moving each strike down one block to offset the pattern from the other. You can move it back after you've finished. Its a program glitch.

alright well moving the one pattern offset from the other, saving, then moving it back made them sound better when played at the same time...but still has the cutting in and out effect...

i could send the project to someone with FL to check out
