i have a question with a weird problem i just encountered...

while playing 2 different patterns from my playlist, one of the two started cutting in and out when before it wasnt doing anything like that...

my AIM is dvrmstrng (same as here) if aim would be a better place to chat

have had a similar problem, for me it was a sample rate issue, unfortunately, i'm not at my music computer right now. i think it's somewhere in the preferences menu, but i'm not sure... what sound card are you using?

no idea...but literally an hour ago i played the same song and there were no issues...no its not working....let me mess with the buffer and see what happens

Yeah mine did that once when my sound drivers were outdated. I installed the updated drivers, and the problem was gone.

no matter where i put my buffer nothing changes...it just slightly bleeds through at some points while the two samples are playing

thats it, the buffer, whenever i added alot of patterns i would have to lower the buffer, i never had that problem with any other programs i used. i tried frutti loops to see what 9th wonder was using. this is why i prefer cubase or reason 4, or my asr...

id say that was it but it worked less than 20 minutes ago...i exited...went back in now its doing this

do you have any other music programs running? as weird as it sounds, i can't run reason and itunes at the same time or it sounds bad...

hard to say then, if i could see it maybe i could help better... may sound stupid but are the levels up on that pattern? other than that idk... sorry i couldn't fix it for ya. btw reason is a better program imo, easier to use for me, try it sometime.
