Algebra young Jedi:so if i cut a peice of 4x4 wood and put a peice in each chamber how big would each peice need to be to take up .5cuf?
(4 * 4 * X)/1728 = .5
Multiply both sides by 1728 and we get; 4 * 4 * X = 864
Divide each side by 4 * 4 (16), leaves us with; X = 54
Plug that into our original equation, and we get:
(4" x 4" x 54")/1728 = .5cuft
So, in each chamber you would need a total of 54" in length using 4x4s
And when you were sitting in math class, you probably thought the teacher was just spouting off useless information that you would never use again //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
