when i build a sub box for my 18" kicker and the manual says 3 cubic feet box size, does that include the displacement of the sub or not? thanks.

All the kicker manuals I've seen....Included driver displacement in their box specs.

nm just read the title lol

The smallest I see kicker recommending is 6 cubes sealed(this includes driver displacement)

Unless you have tons of power and space...I'd look into different subs.

i hope to god you have a STRONG electrical to run that thing. if not, then you may end up on the side of the road one day with a fvcked alty or dead battery. and yes, you probly need at least 8-10 cubes for that sub. just guessing fyi.
