solo x 18" help

I just got my hands on a solo x 18.. I was wondering how many cubes I should do and how much port area per cu ft... I was thinking around 9 cubes and tuned to 35 hrtz and 18sq inches of port area per cubic ft... Please chime in here as i am lost with this sub.. Second question is I have the oppertunity to either get a Memphis Mojo 4kw or a soundstream xxx6500 both for the same price and both do the around the same power at 1ohm at the 14.4v range..
