thats what im wondering do you think it helps in sound i can see it help in bracing but i would just leave it empty
You'll get more sound output in a properly braced enclosure because no acoustical energy is lost to flexing the enclosure. Rendering all of the acoustical energy able to make sound, not movement.

Same concept as sound deadening one's vehicle.

That box is a P.O.S. ...especially for that much money.

No, the middle section doesn't help with sound...its bracing and a poor design for it. I'm sure the box doesn't flex much but the air flow would be turbulent and restricted.

What port tuning would depend on what your goal is...low tuning= better daily driver and high tuning for SPL competition.

I had a solox 18 walled in a 1989 toyota x-cab. It was 10 cu. ft. tuned to 35 hz I think thats what kicker recomeded too. My box was 1 1/2" thick all around and a couple peices of all-thred for bracing.

well i wont have as much room for a wall how do you think i could brace a box just like that same size and deminsions without doing full braces with holes like that and it would be daily i was thinking of doing 35hz what would be the port length height and width with the deminsions of 22" depth 25" height and 32" lenght of the box
