I have a old 4ch amp that I love and I haven't got to use it in awhile cause a couple years back it quit working so I pulled it and heard something rattling around inside. It was a little piece that looks like a small eraser with both little rods pieces on both sides. I soldered it back and the amount worked fine...

My problem is that it only lasts like a week then it breaks off again...is this amp doomed or maybe am I using bad solder or something?

Yeah it won't be till tomm till I can get a pic....but yeah i didn't know if there were different kinds or better kinds of solder I could use.
