honestly just keep up communications. most people are reasonable. i got screwed on a sale by the post office recently and i just kept the other party informed of what i was doing to rectify the situation. he was very good about it and the subs arrived just like they were supposed to, just kinda late. noone actually did anything wrong, everything ended ok and now we are both happy. i would reccomend not using usps anymore. i know im not.
that makes no sense. standard mail is considered 7 days. maybe 10. i got royally screwed. i sent my stuff priority 2 day and it took 8 days. granted my guy was very patient.
it was so funny when i was on the phone with the post office. anything they said included a way out so to speak of what the just said. i knew at that point this was really a govt run facility.

so your saying im screwed?lol cause even if he does receive them he can deny it because i cant prove that i sent them? well all i can tell them in that case is that i DID send them and they can try to take money out of my account, but its drained along with my checking account, so good luck that way. i honestly just think he is being unpatient cause standard mail takes a little longer than UPS so he should just wait a couple more days.

This is why I ALWAYS ship UPS or priority: a TRACKING #. It simply removes all doubt of what's going on. If it costs more to ship UPS, who cares, the buyer pays the shipping anyway. Even if you ship regular USPS, if you pay with a debit card, you at least have something of a record of a transaction.
with the usps any package can have delivery confirm. with any package insured over 50 bux it will be scanned in at any stop points along the way, so where it is can be known.
if its not sent priority i dont know about what tracking info you get. the other guys may be right.

Paypal's policies have always sided with the buyers. If you have no tracking number, and the other party is being unreasonable and/or trying to scam you out of a refund, then you are SOL. Paypal does not give 2 shits about USPS receipts, even if you used your debit or a CC to pay for the shipping at the post office. Bottom line is spend the extra .65 and get a tracking number, or ship FedEx or UPS.

It's situations exactly such as the one described above that resulted in eBay and PayPal alike (both the same company now...) recommending that sellers always ship using an online-trackable method. At the very least buy the Delivery Confirmation (an extra $.45, I think) if you're shipping USPS 1st Class, Parcel Post, or media mailers. In the few eBay sales I have made I stipulate UPS Ground shipping only. If you cannot verify that an item (or items) have been delivered to a buyer's given shipping address via online tracking of some sort then whatever complaints a buyer might make about fraud or whatever will probably be given more credence than your claims that you did, in fact, ship the stuff out in a timely manner.
On the flipside of the same coin if you can show proof that you did as was reasonably expected and the gear was sent soon after payment was tendered then PayPal/eBay will tell the buyer to take a flying leap at a rolling whatever pretty quick.

unfortunatley my friend that why you need to get delivery confirmation on your packages. Most people arent very honest over the internet and if they dont see any kind of tracking number on the package they figure free dvds. How did paypal allow them to file a complaint so fast? usually takes 30 days. I was supprised to see the package come with no tracking number myself.
on a side note what i can do for you if you want is make copies of the DVDs you sent me, send them to him with DC (you pay shipping) and you use that dc number to give to paypal. or just send the Fucker an empty box with DC (maybe includce a picture of a middle finger in the box) and send the DC number to paypal.
BTW to use delivery confirmation the package needs to be atleast 3/4" thick I was told by the USPS a few months ago.

rukus i like that idea about the empty box and the middle finger....but i sent him the originals, im worried about trying to send him copies, because i thought of that too, that if he DOES never infact get them, i could make a copy of them with MY backup copy and send those to him. But i wondered if maybe he would be gay and turn me in for that too...what do you think?
