ok, got home about 20 minutes ago, found the multimeter, and took some measurements...

my subs are Dual 2 ohm, i checked them all before install, right at 2.0 on the dot. No problems there, i took a reading coming out of the box, and its 1.0 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

so i got to thinking, how could i have done this wrong? I went with the second wiring diagram...

http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp?Q=2&I=22

BUT i didn't wire it EXACTLY how it has it on there. I wired it like this...

see the difference? i switched the VC's that i wired the + and - together, I am also coming out of a terminal cup...if that makes a difference...

2 dual 2 ohm subs wire into either a .5, 1, or 8 ohm load
whats the question?
i know thats what the " //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif " was for, i'm confused.

Did i wire it wrong by switching those VC's around? refer to my other thread for questions, i dunno if i'm out of phase or what. I took the 9 volt batt to the speaker wired and they both moved up...

wrong if u have dual 2 u can wire to 2 ohm or .5
2 dual 2 ohm woofers = series parralel = 2ohm

2 dual 2 ohm woofers = parralel = .5
i know what i'm supposed to have, i wired it in series/parallel, but its reading 1.0, and i know its not the multimeter cause 2 of them said the same thing...

Off top, only thing I can think of is that one sub is not getting power.

Your'e looking for a .5 load, correct?

Wire each sub individually and then send the pos and neg from each sub to the respective terminal. Dont try to have a jumblefvck of wire that is confusing you - do it whichever way is easiest to you and is still correct.

Also - did you ever check the subs themselves? I cant see pictures(at work) so I'm not sure exactly how you personally did it - please excuse me if I'm being dumb.
