The SX has better spl than the SE's, but I don't know about sq. The price for a 12" SX is around $270 shipped.

apiece, they handel 1000 rms and SEs handel 600. but if you call re they will tell you se for sq and SX for SPL

you could get 2 type r's for like 200 bucks, and i really like them they sound better to me than any rockfords, or audiobahn 200 bucks is pretty good for 2 nice subs, but ive heard good things about the shivas too, and they are only 50 bucks more for the pair. just saying that type r's are pretty nice, lotta people love em to death

When I get it running I'll let you know how it sounds. I've heard Type R's before, in several different enclosures - and I like them in a low tuned box.
