I have currently:

Honda civic 2002

stock alt, 1 battery up front, 12" re s.e.x strapped 1 ohm to aq1200d, gain set at 30 ampheres.

Slot ported box tuned to 32hz, 45's, no bracing..

I want to sell this ^ setup to my friend.. and I cant decide what sub/amp combo to get!

I want one 15" or 2x12", maybe 18

I want deep, low bass.. daily music (rap and dub)

Okay so sub companies:

Aq,DD,DC, Fi, SSA,SA, Massive, TC, MTX ( the big boys), Mojo (old school orange basket).. list goes on..

I can get another aq1200d and daisy chain or by another mono block thats 2kw plus.. I need bigger alt and more batts still

I hate to jeopardize such nice subs by throwing this band out but Lanzar? I saw a monoblock, online, that wired down to .5 ohm at 5kw.. but 390% thd.. : (

Idk.. totally lost on which sub to pick haha

edit: I would buy used! Cianzo has a great tc sub, soo sexy.. then there is a fi n3 on here.. I just dont know! I would like to stay under 700$

also a 500$ massive 15" or 12" on here that retails for 800$

and aq 18"

Oh yeah and the dude with the scooby doo avatar is on here.. builds bad *** custom subs.. Someone point me in the right direction.. I don't know how to read the specific measurements.. Ik i want a sub with a low f/s, thats about it haha

DD, is okay.. not to found of their dustcaps.. never heard most and specifically this woofer in person..

If you have 700 to spend PM SPL (Scooby Doo guy lol)... He is an awesome guy and will build you whatever you want for a great price IMO... Im going down this route now as well

I think I would get fi before DD, but I've never heard either. Just something about dd, maybe its the fanboy part of it, I just don't want to run them..

anyways.. im probably heading to bed finally at 6am.. started ponging 13 hours ago and smoked many blunts so my mind is tired, yet racing.. hope this statement doesnt break any forum rules

He can build something for 400 that will do whatever you want Im sure...

DD is hand built in the US that kinda why I like them so much... Just looking at a DD sub is impressive to see the quality and will take much more then rated...

Not even close to just SPL subs!!! The DDZ series yes but besides that they all have great SQ in most people opinions... The 3500 is known for the perfect mix of SQ and loudness...my 2512 was doing around mid 130's on music which is pretty loud and sounded great...

I usualy get systems in, get them tuned up and broke in, then start looking for the next setup hahaha... I have heard good things about daytona for SQ drivers
