So I'm an idiot and need help...

Thanks for the help guys. It's a 99 Cavalier. Only the best for college //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Anything else and I would be angry when it's gotten dinged...to be honest though, it's been a great car reliability wise, I've put 70,000 on it in a couple years, which makes well over 200k, for the $1000 I got it for, it's allowed me to buy plenty of toys!

Ugh.... Said who? " you? "

... HAHAHAHA @ that.

I personally know what that EXACT setup sounds like PERSONALLY( Sub facing the cabin - Port on the side )

... And there's not much difference between a 99cav & a 95civic ... Or better yet... my 99nissan sentra.

Soooo ... ANYWAY!

( Now don't get me wrong: there's nothing like everything going the same direction... But there's nothing AT ALL wrong with this way. )

... I did (3) 12" CVRs like this in a 2005 Monte Carlo... and you get chest pains... ( on a ZX1000.1 @ 2.67ohms )

I've had a setup w/ every direct you can put a port and sub... Soo - can't really miss me when it comes to that...

Any way you could get me a sketch-up of the box with a port not in the front, including all dimensions of the box and port?

I would like the port not in the front so I could slide the box as far forward as possible and still have a bit of space in the trunk for stuff.

lulz i had this problem the first box i made, i just took the trunk gasket off, bent the **** out of the lip holding the gasket on sanded down all the corners of the box lol, eventually i made it fit

I would prefer that, I will have several inches to the side that would have plenty of ventilation, and facing the sub forward would give me a bit of space in the rear of the trunk plus better access to the wheel well area.

did you make a wedge box? and are the sub chambers seperate, and you should stick with a sealed box since its in a trunk. and ported for like suv's, vans and such reason ports use all the open air space and hits massive. so think like this sealed enclosed space, ported open
