So I got into an accident today...**UPDATE**

Ok, to follow up on today...
I've officially been diagnosed with a broken rib and whiplash.

Called the precinct and talked to a detective...told us to fax in the hospital records and Crime Control will amend the police report and they will be charged with a misdemeanor and be arrested.

I'm also out of work for at least 4 days counting today, so I may have to talk to my sister's b/f who is a lawyer and see what to do from here.

lol, thats great they are being arrested. sucks about your injuries though. shouldnt be a **** misdemeanor though. and yes...get money.

Well we just got off the phone with our car insurance, I have income loss protection, so looks like I'm covered for work.

Also get a rental car for nothing when my car is in the shop.

We'll probably get in contact with a lawyer as well.

Two things:
1) You'll hurt more tomorrow and the next day. Pains like this usually manifest the most 2-3 days after the initial injury. Just like going to the gym for the first couple times.

2) Don't go to a chiropractor. They're horseshit. All they do is help you develop a mutually dependant relationship. Him on your money, and you on his hands. Get the problem ACTUALLY fixed and enjoy a fatter wallet and a healthier body. My mom is a perfect example. She goes nearly weekly and the pain just keeps coming back every week. Don't you think if it did something positive, the last 6-7 years of weekly or biweekly visits would have FIXED the problem by now?

And yes, pics of the dyke please.
Chiropracters DO WORK if you are seeing them for the RIGHT reasons...the problem is that too many people don't know the RIGHT reason.

A back cracker is able...through mutliple visits...to reposition and re-train, if you will, your muscles when something has happened to cause them stress. Like this gentlemans injury. It does take time to repair...hence the first quote. It takes time for the injury to appear and it WILL take even longer for it to heal. You should be using a physical therapist in conjunction with a chiropracter!

I have personally suffered numbness in the back of my leg due to a pinched nerve and constrictred muscles... after just 5 visits to the chiropractor she was able to release the pressure on the nerves and eliminate the numbness in my legs. And you say they dont work? Consistent chiropractic visits are also a leading cure for most debilitating arthritis in the vertabrae.

^^^^ correct! Bear in mind too that there are different types of chiropractors (2 to be exact). AND every profession whether it medical, lawn mowing, mechanics, and etc. has good ones and bad ones, chiropractic is no different, it's a shame that your mom (Wonderbread) hasn't gotten quicker results, maybe she needs to re-evaluate what type of DC she is going to.

I was in an accident last weekend. Somebody pulled out in front of me. I went over to check on her and she was screaming into the phone that it was my fault, I had my turn signal on. I just walked away and stood by my car and waited for the cops to show up. Turns out she was about 7 months pregnant and they had to cut her out of the car. She's fine, at least that's what the cop said today. He went to the hospital to go over what happened and she yelled at him because he told her she was at fault.

I got lucky though, there was someone behind me and she told the cops that I didn't have my turn signal on, which I didn't. She was behind me and had hers on, but mine wasn't. Either way though, she was at fault for failure to yield r/w. I'm about 90% sure my car is totaled, it needs a new bumper cover, fenders, hood, lights, part of the radiator support needs to be replaced, and it needs a new power steering pump. We haven't really got to look at it but it's pretty bad on the outside, I wouldn't be surprised if it's worse under the hood. The driver's side door wouldn't open either so something might be wrong where I tried to open it.

The whole situation sucks. I've got some crazy ***** that thinks I had my turn signal on and caused the whole wreck and I'm without my car for probably 2 months //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif. No car=no system, I think that should be grounds for pain and suffering //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif. We overheard one of her family members talking at the scene and they said this was the 2nd or 3rd accident she's had like this in the past few months. We don't even have her phone number or insurance information, none of that was on the police report //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif.
