its up there. but the new ferraris and euro junks have faster paddle shifters. idk i like a good old clutch the best. thats the only way to actualy feel a car

most every car at the 1\8th mile drag strips around here use a powerglide, ford or chevy, also you dont really need a big block to have one, granted the big block can benefit from it, if your car is lite enough a power glide can work well. as for the supra guy, i call them 12\1200 cars, it takes 1200hp to make them run 12's hehe

another reason why people use glides is a good built PG with a brake cost less than 1500 bucks and can hold a ton of power

a hennessey srt10 viper is my dream car. the hennessey edetion would spank the f*ck out of a zr1. it beat the bugatti super veyron in 0-220 mph by 5 seconds. that thing is a f*ckin animal

its a heavily modified Hennessey car.... Im sure it would spank every stock car out there.. Hennessey and lingenfelter make kit for the ZR1 as well.. Try to at least compare apples to apples

This was with street tires and average boost, traction was a bit of an issue though.

60: 1.550

1.8: 7.111

MPH: 96.66

1/4: 11.182

MPH: 120.62

in my eyes a car that can do low 7's in the 1\8 is a fast street car. Depending on what it is, anything faster than 6.50ish is too dangerous for the street

I wouldn't say that. I would say that with a "kid" behind the wheel it is deadly. However, I drive my car from time to time around town and I have next to no issues. I just never get into boost except for when getting up to speed on the highway or something. well anything is safe if you drive safe. kids get killed in anything. my point is it's hard to control a faster car that lower 7's maybe...the car would have to work very well for me to ride in it and it run deep into the 6's

You have no clue what you're talking about. The Veyron S is the worlds fastest production 0-100, and 100-200 car. The fastest 0-60 production is owned by the GT-R. The two fastest production runs on the Nurburgring is the GT-R followed closely by the ZR1. If you want fast for under $150,000, those are the two best options. Funny thing is, a stock C6 Vette with twin turbos is faster than either, for cheaper. It also spanks Hennessey and Lingenfelter modded anythings.

i cant imagine a zr1..i road in a buddies z06, my camaro runs about the same but my car is violent and loud, dudes vette is so quiet and smooth, those vettes are machines for sure, i thought about getting a c5 zo6 but after driving one and then riding in the c6 there is a world of difference, the c6 is so much better in every way, granted the 20k price difference across the board i can always dream tho
