Smoked tailights

clearcoat over smoke, makes it shinier and it protects it.Duplicolor is the brand name, they make car paint.

If you mess up, do it over. Definetly do it in a confined hair/dust free area. I got hair on the set i did, was really annoying

I fell onto something that i dont think anyone has mentioned yet for a do-it-yourself smoked taillight and thats go to your local hobby store for like RC cars and ask them for window tinting paint...it comes in a small can and is meant for tinting RC car windows but it works perfect for taillights...buy about 3 cans or so and apply three light coats of the spray (or until you feel the smoking is sufficient) then when all is done apply a very light coat of clear to the smoked tails to protect the spray from dirt and dust and rain...we did my friends Sierra last week and it came out perfect...i now buy 3 cans for about $15 and charge people about $60-$70 to do their lights for them...well you guys have fun and remember...less is more when it comes to paint...and TAKE YOUR TIME!!

Well its 10 at nite haha but i can get some pictures tomorrow when i get off work...i have to pic up the rollpan for my truck first and then i'd say probably tomorrow around 5 or so check this thread for pics...
