DEI remote programming

for an avital 4100. I just installed this remote starter, but cannot get the remotes to work. When I turn the ignition on the doors lock as they should and when i turn it off they unlock, so the door lockas are working. When I turn the ignition on and press the program button once and then again and hold it for auto learn the led flashes once every few seconds and does not do anything when I press a button on the remote. What am I doing wrong or is it possible this unit is locked up or has problems?

find someone with a bitwritter and ur headache will go away, thats what i did. or take it to the shop and see if they have a bit writter they will let you use for a fee.

I figured it out, I accidently plugged the antenna into another 4 pin port that I am not using.

A bitwriter is not needed to program a remote... just do autolearn, but i guess you already fixed it.
