Well without research, can you jail break the 3G's? And to jailbreak do you have to purchase the phone retail? Because I am starting a new contract and want to get the discount with the 2 year agreement.

i never jailbroke a 3g, but im sure it just as easy as jailbreaking a 2G. you will need to download the problem, to jailbreak it, and it should come with directions on what to do.

and now with the 3G's you have to activate them in the store.

Ok, so not purchasing the Iphone from the store is not an option, which means the Iphone is out of the question.

So it really comes down to this:

Do I spend more money on a phone that is not not as good of quality overall, just to have wifi (LG Incite) or do I get the better phone (by ratings) and sacrifice the wifi function (Samsung Eternity)?

i got both fuze and iphone and fuze is better to me at least i would look into that

I have a smart phone without the data plan...............

Granted I paid 30 bucks for each phone and really got it for easy texting.

Personally me, I would get a blackberry curve if they carry it. They new one, or the bold. Both are really nice phones.

One of those will be my next phone.

That Fuze does look awesome the more I look at it, but is is fucking expensive, even WITH a new contract. I was looking to spend around $100 after mail in rebate, but it does look good. Hmm...

i got a tilt with no data plan, just get a program called nodata and you can turn off the att network and won't have to worry if you are ever on it.
