hey i just noticed a few days ago that when you push down on the cones of my subs that it takes a few seconds for them to come back up, when must speakers follow your finger back up now i was wondering if there was any way i can help this or the only way to help is to build a new box, wich i planed on doing anyway, but i cant make any **** sence out of WIDisd Pro, any help would be greatlly apprecated

The speaker should IMEDIATELY rebound back to its normal position. I have never heard of a problem like this though, so i dont now what to do. I have a good idea that your surround foam or rubber has deteriorated and gone bad.

if the sub is in the box and it is sealed the subd should be real hard to push in then move out real slow that means the box is air tight but in ported or free air it should go back to normal as fast as you move your finger away

thanks alot guys i didnt know if it was normal or not because most speakers immedatlly come back i didnt know that in a sealed box it takes longer thanks agian

hey also remember that pushing on the subs while in a sealed enclosure will help you determine if your boxes are sealed well. a hissing sound when you push them means the box aint sealed good but no noise and lots of resistance against you pushing the cone means air tight like my boxes.

my boxes are sealed around the joins with resin and the sub is sealed in with weather stripping
