got tha alt install and the regulator installed and working. this weekend i'm going to start on the front doors. i'm thinking about slicking them out and painting them with the same textured paint as i did with the rear pods. i'm thinking all the glassed pieces i do should have same look.what happened?

stock alt power wire and one 1/0 run off the alt to front batt. i can do two 1/0 if i need to..how many runs of wire do you have off the alt? i had a 190 and only one run of 0awg it would over heat the alt until i hooked up another run of wire then it was ok.i also had it hooked to a switch but when running it at a show or charging after a run it would over heat and shut off
I would keep an eye on it because over heating them = rebuilding them:crap:stock alt power wire and one 1/0 run off the alt to front batt. i can do two 1/0 if i need to..
dude wats the name of that song u was playing in the vid i want itcought hell after i got the regulator wired up. the lights started flickering. did a little reserch on the matter on here. found out that i shouldn't wire the relay off the fuse box but , needed to wire it straight off the batt....works 100% now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

do you drive the van all the time? my ride sit's in storage so I picked up a $15 timer for my charger so it would charge for 8hours on 2 amp.because i let my car sit to long and the batts were real low and it fried the alt:crying:
no I'm talking about the alt not the wire.Ive seen a 0 gauge stinger run take 3500rms for 2 years and never have a problem with heat or any sort of warming for that matter. How much power were you pulling? Im sure hes just fine.
BTW- plz dont permanently mount that gauge there...
