Me and my mom were flipping a couch with a fold out bed on it and the fold out bed fell down on my big toe and messed it up pretty bad. turned purple, I finally just peeled it off.

I slammed mine in my Suburban door and it severed the top of my left middle finger...fun times.

oh yewa and i remember one time doing community service we were putting those long brown tables away.. you know, the ones that fold up the legs and become flat to store away? anyway someone helping me slammed a pair of legs while my finger was in the wrong place at the wrong time and it got squished by a very dull edge but it went deep into my finger without cutting it.. it looked smashed for a couple days.. pain wasnt horrible though it was almost a numb feeling

And, of course, I opened the door ... locked them, got out, slammed by thumb in the door, the door latch caught, and I dropped my keys + keyless entry button. I had my hockey skates in my other hand, and I wasn't putting them on the concrete so I waited for someone to deal with it for me. Purple/blue/black and couldn't grip anything for a while.

When I was a youngster, which was a long time ago, I was watching my dad cutting the grass out my back bedroom window. Well we had those old school windows that you usually put a piece of wood under the window to hold it up. Well I didnt for whatever reason and thought the window was just gonna stay up since it was up and didnt have wood under it. Pretty stupid I know. Next thing I know that ****er slammed down on all 10 of my fingers and I was stuck! WTF DAD! Anyway my mom came over and tried to get the window up and she couldnt. My dad came storming on after my mom went to get him and he smashed the glass out and well that seemed to work. Next thing I know I had 7 out of my 10 fingers broke. Was not fun for a good month and a half. Last night I built a new box and when I was done getting everything back together I slammed my finger in my back door //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif . This is actually the first time I have done this really bad like it is. My fingernail is all black and I can't pick anything up very well.
Anyone else have any experience with this injury?

samwe thing happened to me 2 years ago, except i smashed 2 of my fingers in the top of the freight elevator. just let them heal and be careful hit to them on anything. that blood will drain out on its own with the growth of the fingernail.

I was laying some tongue and groove flooring , got caught in the radio extention cord and slammed my thumb with a dead blow hammer, it swole up so bad i had to drill a hole into the huge bubble of blood under my nail, was all better in 2 days after that except for my diformed looking thumbnail.

when i stub my toe hard or wear shoes that are way too tight for an excessive period of time (like when i went snowboarding with boots that were too small //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif)i get blood under my toenail.. my dad gets a needle and drills a hole through my toenail until it reaches the blood.. then hell get the blood out from that little hole. i think it helps the toe breathe.

this is isnt a smashing an appendage story but its pretty funny.. my buddy was telling me the other day how one time it was dark and he ran down the street to meet his neighbor to give him something. then after he handed the item to his neighbor, and turned around to run bacc to his house barefooted, there was a car and its radio antenna was tilted at a 45 degree angle for some odd reason.. right as m buddy turned around and STARTED to run he ran right into that antenna.. poked him straight in his eye.. LOL his eye was gross-looking red for months no joke..

lets see my hand has been smashed in windows 3 or 4 times. n doors for like 3 or 4 times and in the store at vons thos automatic doors hurt really bad. sucks to be mexican
