Skipass as a blowthru???

Well, time to start thinking a setup that will do a decent number. I have an hd315 in 3.5 cubes tuned to 38hz running 1 ohm on an Autotek mm1400.1 in my 2002 Acura TL Type S. The problem with these cars...the rear seat doesn't fold down. It only has a skipass that will fold down and a stock sub on the rear deck, which I removed. I got metered today on one of those SPLMeter brand meters. OK, laugh away but these meters are within 2db's of a Termlab. Once I hit a 145.2 on it and when I metered on a TL, got 144.1. My buddy did 143.8 on this "cheap" meter and actually did a 143 flat on the TL.

Anyways, I did a 141.7 on my current setup on this cheap meter so I'd say about a 139. I need more. Question is, can a skipass be used in the same manner as a blowthru setup? My plan is two 12's, each in it's seperate enclosure, on each side of the trunk with both subs facing each other. What are your thoughts?

Yep, I've already had 2 setups ofmine do that, and boy is it quite nice sealed off from the trunk, having no rattle but all the bass:veryhapp:
