Ordered an Alpine Type R 12 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif SWR-1223D

Planning on going with Alpine's recommended .90 internal sealed enclosure and will have the 600 watts delivered.

Ebayer that I ordered the Type R from cancelled my ordering stating there was a "defective batch" and they would refund money. I believe they mislisted price and didn't want to honor it.

Anyways, update: just ordered a Crunch GVS 12 D2 from SonicElectronix. Figured I'd try it out since I've heard good things. Anyone have an optimal sealed enclosure spec? I'm going with smallest currently at 1cuft gross.

Got the GVS in the mail on Tuesday and installed it into 1 cube net last night. Boat is at the lake, so won't be until this weekend to determine how she sounds. For a $70 woofer, I really liked the build of it. There was some obvious excess glue, but the thing is massive, has nice push terminal, and a decent look for a budget sub.

Not sure if I'll have the best application to give an appropriate response to how it sounds, but I'll be sure and let you guys know after the weekend what I think.
