8 layer coil will give you more output and stll sound decent with the daily setup. if you prefer more bottom end go with the high xmax coil.

Cooling is a must..

**** also go with the internal leads too the spiders are much more linear..

No u have the wood at .75" and for two 18s u should have doubled every wall so 1.5" and that will take up space. I think u should build a new box for your 15s u have... put those 15s in a 9cubed box and they will come alive... that 5.8cube box u have now is suffocating them

he told me yesterday he's setting off car alarms now idk y he wants more.. i've tried to talk him into getting bigger custom 15 box and he could get different 15's later with bigger amp, but he's got this ha*don for 18's

my buddy has a single Rockford 15 on 500 watts and sets off car alarms. Not hard at all. It's all about proper airspace/enclosure. Can't suffocate the woofers..

The reason why i don't build a bigger box is because I took it too my box builder and he said the output is what is should be and I have the proper air space and he said since they are not sa15 building a bigger box would kinds hurt my current setup so I'm just going with 2 18s on 2k and that should be my last setup for along time

Your builder is an idiot. Not only is the box too small, but 2 4" aeros is nowhere near enough. Thats like 4.5^2

yeah i think main thing is port size (mine to small too but it still loud i'm sure his is) but even if he got just 1cf more ad with big port it would be louder..
