skaaning based system Vs genesis absolute (mini cooper)

I'm about to install the following in a mini cooper (IB). See attached pictures for the mini's installation locations.

The aim is an audiophile SQ system with good SPL levels.

All are automotive versions.

cQuenze 15H front bottom.

Ring Radiator front top.

cQuenze 18H instead of the rear 6x9.

Flex units 10" sub.

I was thinking if a genesis absolute will yield much "better" results:

5.25" front bottom.

4" front top.

Tweeter in dash.

7" instead of the 6x9.

sub.

Do you think custom installation boxes are a must?

Any recommendations before I purchase the above?

Any of the drivers you listed are highly capable of what you desire, but they need to be optimized in the vehicle. But it's gong to be limited to someone who is highly skilled and competent in tuning to make it all work. Otherwise, you won't have an "audiophile" system, you'll just have a very expensive car stereo. If that's you, then decide with your ears which sounds better.
