Size recommendations for 8" ported sub box

I only want and need one box. But thanx

I know i've seen the box's before and the only problem is that i **** at wood working. I would have one of my friends do it but they would probably make the box too big. My dad is capable of doing it but he is way too busy with work and stuff. So I'm pretty much on my own with this.
