Size of box?

Well i am new, so no laughing lol.

What size box would i need (sealed) for 2 12" Pioneer TS-W306C subs. I am looking for the length, height and width in inches if possible. As i must work out if the box will fit into my car before i purchase the subs.

Thanks for any help.

Ps. I tried googleing it, and used the search feature, so i have tried to find out. I dont really want to be asking a stupid question, but i must.

Ur suppose to give us the length, height, and width to work with. lol Also if ur planning on having it sealed or ported (if ported u need to tell us what frequency u want it tuned to as well)

it varies for different subs, I can give u a huge box but it might not fit in ur vehical. How about u go and measure what space u have to work with then get back to us? and dont forget if ur building it outside the car u need to give enough space to move it into the car.

You have plenty of room for two 12's sealed. That overall volume is 6.3 cubes. You need only 3 cubes with those subs

Recommended Enclosure 0.85 ~ 1.75 Cubic Feet

guessing it's sealed since it doesnt have a recommeneded frequency

Arite using 3/4 MDF for all sides, I got (15h x 30w x 14d) for a Total of 2.783cft (actual inside space is 2.496cft) so little more than 1.74cft for each sub, should be perfect. hopefully that helped. Also that is after calculating the space the subs take up. Maybe someone else can chime in to confirm this

With 15x30x14 I get the internal volume of 3.196 cubes before sub displacement.

Did u calculate the MDF wood? dont forget 3/4 inch MDF wood means 1.5" off each of the numbers for internal volume. so 13.5x28.5x12.5

(I think u got 3.196 cuse u only took .75" off each number)

well incase u didnt know there are sites that build boxes to people's specifications, just cuse he doesnt want to make his own box doesnt mean u need to insult him. Maybe he doesnt have the time or want to.
