Separating Subs Help???

Does putting a divider inside a sealed box help any?? Like to divide the speakers and give the effect that they are in separate boxes. The other day at school some kids were telling me this makes a big difference and I was just wondering if their was any truth to it. Thanks

I wouldn't say it makes a big difference. If any, I doubt it would be apparant to your ears.

unless one of ur subs go out. Reason I had my box made with 2 different chambers is so incase 1 sub died the other wouldn't be getting twice the space its suppose to have.

If everything is working correctly, no, there will be no difference.

It makes a differance. Not every sub from the same batch is exactly the same.

It also saves your speaker if one fails. Filling your box with fiber can help you tune each speaker chamber to your taste as well.

Just divide it and be done with it.
