Except your going to get alot more group delay

I would go more than 3 cubes tuned around 30 if you want it to sound good..
A lot more? We are talking about 1/10ths of milliseconds. Something that will be completely irrelivent once blended into the midbass.

How many SQ cars have you built and won with? Stfu until you have.

So is it tune the higher you tune your box the more SPL you get out of it. Say you tune it to 37hertz. And the lower you tune to say around 30-32hertz the better sound quality you get but lose output?
not really, all depends on your vehicle acoustics more than anything. If the vehicle peaks low, tuning high would not really get you much spl gains. If the vehicle peaks high, then it would get you gains while tuning lower would help make it play flatter. I'd say 32-35 is a good starting point.

How much net volume would you exactly do so I get an idea of I can fit it or not

Would you know what my vehicle peaks at high or low tuning? Its a 2012 acura tl elite. I'm gonna probably do a fiber glass box and mold it in my trunk so I wanna have the correct airspace as well as tuning

Jeff isn't gonna know that answer. You'll have to play a test tone to figure that out. Every vehicle is different as far as inside acoustics go.

Im sure it peaks between 42 and 46.

Ive head 4 ft. 3.5 3 and 2.75. Its super boomy in anything over 3 cubes. The spiders are soft and it looses mechanical dampening drastically over 3.5.

If you just want killer lowend ouput go large if you wa t something that sounds good id stick to 2.75 to 3 tuned low.

What sq champ here does t understand is group delay and transiant response is related.

He claims That the lead engineers at jl have accurate claims on distortion figures but they cannot recommend the right alignment for the woofer they designed and built

Sounds like you need new coils. My Explorer with three 15's, appropriate birch box, fully sound-deadened interior, and a boat behind it does not...

2x 4 ohm coils can be wired parallel to 2 ohms or series to 8 ohms. There's many amps with 2 ohm power you can use.
