Makes the installs a lot more fun tho. Also gives you strength to one man carry heavy @ss sh*t and mount them without any assistance. Should not damage anything or lose a finger unless you took one shot too many.

I do it alone cause it's my own space, I'd tether be in here building practical things than be out doing things I shouldn't be doing. I can see my son following in my footsteps (2years old) will not leave the garage period when I'm busy in it. He will just stand an stare an imitate. Good fun.

i thought at least a little alcohol was required for installs. Joint lubrication or something like that, speaking of joints....

shouldnt be a big deal even if the fuse does pop, other than the need to go get the correct sized fuse. Also, this thread had got to 25 pages, now the admins start collecting instructional fees... Look what ya dun did now LOL jk

Clearly it's no longer just a topic... It's a lifestyle a hobbie or whatever you choose to call... I'm drawing up an isometric drawing of the box since I Dnt have the 3D program..

That is a SMALL box, smaller than my box in the Blazer and probably peak between 45-60 hz... it is hard to say for certain as the parameters you provided would not let me model them first... 2.7 ft3 net IS a small box... it looks to be FAR from ideal...

BTW... It'll probably have poor low frequency extension... you're "Bonecrushers" will probably become "Braincrushers" in that box...

Yep... looks like it'll peak around 55 hz... someone else can interpret this better I'm sure... there are members with a lot more experience doing this...

If you can fit it in your "boot"... this looks to be really strong at a low tuning... if you are curious I'll do it up in Torres but I'm getting tired of this... give me your EXACT measurements available with the battery in there and all the way to the hatch... I'll adjust for port clearance...

Looks like you adjusted the box measurements to fit... and ended up with a very small box, space makes bass, the 4 ft3 net box was smallish but I went by the measurements given... what space IS available with the battery in there?.. come on man... this is getting old fast...
