define MOST for me as well
WTF?

you really are stupid. I already did.

MOST CONSUMERS.

This means the most people who buy vehicles for daily transportation.

JESUS you are dense. Why would I do a specific region/race/***/age to get an answer like this. That makes no sense.

If I want to break it down into specific instances then I can say a **** biccyle is more practical, then tell you I am talking about chinese villages who are 5 minutes from the rice fields.

most is an argument that would come up if not defined. is most just more than 50%

I like how you resort to personal bashing instead of answering questions

this isn't the querstion. I said for the average consumer.
Is your wife going to wear her nice dress and drive a motorcycle to work everyday.

I can admit that for some people a motorcycle make sense, but for most people it won't.

Dman wants to say that is is just more practical PERIOD.
You can't get one single answer for this. There are too many variables that you refuse to take into account.

Yes you can get an answer for what is practical to most people. that is indeed what surveys do.

I am not going to account for variables because any given situation can have one or the other more practical. We know this(well most with brain cells know this).

What I want to know is for most average people buying a vehicle for daily use, what is going to serve them better?

This is not a question that can't be answered. It is easily answered by surveying a wide group of people from all walks.

I have a report due in Econ of Transportation next week...I'll be sure to include how suv's are more economical for women and families than cavaliers are:up2somet:

edit: enjoy your poll...I'll check it out next week...twas fun bickering with you:cuddle:

If you're not taking into account any variables then a motorcycle is more practical for EVERYONE. Assuming NO variables are taken into account.

Since you added a specific, yes your presumption is quite possibly true. That is not what this poll was about. You can distort anything to substantiate a claim. In the end though if you try to encompass a broader scope and not narrow it down to one then it is harder to say things like what you did in my thread.

Saying I can't call my car economical and practical until I buy a bike was a retarded statement. Nothing you have said changes this. Now you want to go round and start throwing specific situations into the mix. That is not what you initially proposed. I know a bike CAN be more practical choice for some.

Hell a god **** snowmobile is more practical for some people in the world as well. So I suppose until I own a snowmobile in Tampa I can't call my car practical //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

the entire morning was B.S. if you didn't notice....and you may have not noticed the cavalier in my previous post for an attempt at humor.

I once drove a cavalier and hated it, but that doesn't mean it isn't economical.

edit: BTW.....I got quite a laugh at the entire exchange
