If I lived where you did, I would still own my 2 cars and bike and would still ride the bike as much as I saw fit. The benefits I have seen just over the past few months from my bike have surpassed any other reasoning to not own one.

I don't pour money into liabilities anymore. I only need one form of transport. I sink my money into thinks that have real rewards. If I was comfortable with my financials then I would own a bike on top of a car. Right now it isn't a necessity. Now you are just back pedaling and getting away from the question.

Doing it model specific to a non model specific doesn't work. It turns it into a flame on the brand. Thats not the data we are really after here. We all know the cavalier is a POS. But bottomline is as an economical car it is more practical for most people.
