I bought a bunch of car audio forums that many of these guys used to belong to.

The forums I own and run have good moderation with rules that are more firm. The kind of behavior you see on this site, is not allowed on my sites. They are not run like nazi forums but the moderation is more firm. Also no racism or xenophobia allowed.

Many people that hate me either got kicked off of one of my forums, or hate the fact that I put ads on the forums.

I also used to own Second Skin Audio, the sound deadening company. I don't take **** and have an attitude. I am successful and strong headed and don't mind getting insulted by idiots that are wrong. I am 36, semi retired and live my life exactly how I want.

People talk ****. I talk **** back, but because I am/was a business owner, I am held to a higher standard than everyone else. You can see this same thing with many online company owners. Say one wrong thing and the forum acts like a bunch of meth head monkey at a **** throwing content.

People hate me because they want to.

People hate me because others hate me, and they are mindless sheep, and follow the other sheep.

People hate me because they are jealous because they are bored, and because this is the internet and thats just the way it goes.

Ant has always been a good guy in my book. He's always went out of his way to help me out any time I've had any questions. He's also been helpful giving business advice and personal advice. I can't fault him for purchasing websites and monetizing them and putting in place strict rules to keep nonsense out of the message boards. Personally, I'd like things to be a little more strict around here (outside of the dome of course.)

How many people here have done what he has? Pretty much none of them. Nobody here owns multiple websites with loads of revenue, nobody here owns their own business and is best in the arena than any other competitor, etc.

I don't think so.

In fact I think I spend most of my time on this forum defneding myself against guys who don't know me, never met me, and have hardly interacted with me yet form opinions based on what other people have said, (of which most [not all] was baseless to begin with).

I have made a few diskish comments in the heat of the moment, but to single me out in THOSE situations is hardly fair.
