Overall I like this site more than any other. A few things I would like to see is more helpful Mod’s. No one really helps anyone here. 90% of the responses are just smart ***** trying to inflate their post count and act as if there the gods of audio. If I knew of someone wanting to learn anything about audio this would be the last site I would recommend to them. Plus, I have noticed that Mod’s have favorites certain people can spam this site left and right but others get there threads deleted or get banned. There is most defiantly a different stroke’s for different folks rule going on. I also, like the suggestion said earlier that Mod’s need to be assigned to a certain section as well as mandate a certain amount of time per day/week/month that they must be patrolling there section. Just my thoughts.

I moderate mostly in the general sections. The TD is not supposed to need too much moderation.

Unfortunatly, this section is the section most likely to need moderating.

unfortunately you cant really force someone to spend a certain amount of time on the forum, figuring they arent being paid

I undestand that but it should be a rule if you are wanting to be a Mod. If you can not devote time to this site then you should not be in charge of anything on this site.

this site has been made alot better. i remember a while back when after like midnight central time you couldn't get anything to load. i think people just like new things and CACO brought the seperated classified ads for different products which I thought was cool. but its also a drag when you are a seller and you have to seperate ALL your for sale threads. while here it makes it more simpler for a seller.

but then again when you combine all of them in one thread, your headline may not say specifics just to get it all to show up on the most recent posted threads on the main page, so your suffering by puttings AMPS,SUB, BATTS (whatever). but if it was that big of an issue you could always make seperate threads here too.

In my opinion the COMMUNITY makes the forum. if your community is good, the forum will be good. And since ive been on this forum( I believe since 06???) This forum has always had the most traffic out of all of them between SSA.com, smd, caco, and even back in the day when SOUNDSOLUTIONS.org was around if anyone can say they actually remember that one.

I also believe that the manuf. areas are also a thing that brings people to those forums. the fact that the owner may SPEAKER one line to a person asking a question on that forum area, when you could simply always just call or email them, gets them off. but it is good when new products are mentioned, or special sales.

everyone will make their own judgement on where they want to browse but this site will always be here. heck, when you google CAR AUDIO FORUM, this is the main one that comes up!!!
