Been a member since '06 and pretty much started here after a brief stint on CA.org. Over the last few years the content of threads has just gotten to the point of being nonsense 99% of the time. Someone starts a thread asking a question and "if" he gets a legit answer he has to sift through 50 random BS posts to find it. I'm all for the lulz but the TD is for that, not EVERY thread in every section.

This site used to be full of knowledgeable members and countless threads full of good info, debate/discussion, reviews/experiences with equipment, etc... not so much anymore as only a handful have hung around.

Not sure how to fix it though, but a happy medium somewhere between how strict most think CACO is and the current state here might help things. GL either way as I really used to enjoy this site and would like to see it return to what it once was...

You can do as much as you want to make the site better. You can organize it better or add little things like thanks and other applications but what makes any forum truly good is the members and right now a lot of the people are just trolls who really are just useless. Until you get a better more helpful member base this site will continue to suffer from the reputation that it has gained lately.

I'm an owner of another site and yes, I'll take what members I can get. I'm sorry it's just business. I no longer make threads about it and I can't help it that someone else did. I WILL give you some suggestions. #1, worst/johnny law was bad before, I sent him a pm later on telling him he and I had no problems to which we don't personally anymore but he IS NOT MATURE ENOUGH to be a mod. Most of the members here are not. Your information in the technical sections is flawed. People flame you when you give correct information. Electronics is not a public opinion game. It's a science. It is proven. Bring up a capacitor. People will tell you to take it out of your system. You can explain to them how it can't hurt(also can't help but that's not the point) and you will get flamed and they have no basis for their statements.

Then the classifieds have no organization

the mods have no organization. Obviously because one just deleted a thread you openned on a site YOU OWN.

But Goob I'll be honest, I'm trying to follow in your footsteps. I wish to God I'd have got this domain before you or been able to be a partner. New Horizon Holdings is a stroke of brilliance and I wish I were in your shoes.

The spamming issue i have with this thread has nothing to do with you or your forum.

The original poster of this thread is a mod on MWCA and he is spamming the site here, Jbizzle and joe are better than that but i guess their moderator isn't. Yes, me and you have had issue, after you got banned for your spamming, you PMed me sayingn o hard feelings and you understood why it happened. I have nothing against you even though you still want to say im immature but regardless, my issue in this thread has nothing to do with you.

i have only had conversations with 2 or 3 mods and denim I just message dhim the few problems I had and they were corrected. but i think a mod should never be on here **** talking to people and deleting posts at will just because they can. Just from reading this thread i think you got enough input on what needs to be done
