my friend has 2 12" profile subs, they are rated at 200watts. we need a mono amp. so i was thinking of just connecting both subs +'s and -'s all to that one channel. will this work? what type of amp will i need for him?

If they are 8ohm woofers..(single 8 or dual 4's) you want a good 2 channel you can bridge into a 4 ohm mono load. If they are 4 ohm woofers then you would want a class D mono amp to run a 2 ohm load. All depends on your impedance though.

I think you're going to find this is true across the board. Technology has come so far at this point that even the absolute rock bottom unit that...
